We are open daily from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and looking forword for your visit

The private exposition for small to large shows four-centuries of toy development. You can find here trains, cars, airplanes, bears, dolls, kitchens, wooden toys, Barbie or robots.

The museum is located right in the heart of Munich on Marienplatz in the old town hall tower. The collection extends over four floors and is accessible by elevator. You can reach the cash desk via a spiral staircase. With its quaint tower rooms, it remembers a doll's house and evokes childhood memories from grandmother's times.

Absolutely love this museum. A walk down memory lane. The old Barbies are amazing. Perfect place to bring your children here. Found the explanations about the history of the teddy bear and his “mother” Margarethe Steiff interesting. The exhibits are beautifully and lovingly presented.

If you are already in Munich, you should plan a visit to the beautiful toy museum. There are really great things from the different times of the toy era.

You should have seen it! Simply great, old toys from many decades and lovingly collected, a real highlight.

Kind! Special museum for toys, especially with some beautiful railway models of the former Bavarian Reichsbahn. For lovers and children!

The entrance is funny, because there is a rotating, "something" hanging in front of the door, which invites you to climb the stairs and get into the world of the game. Many things can be rediscovered with which you have played yourself or with which previous generations have played. But it is a museum to "look at", you have to be aware of that.
